Privacy Policy
Short version: I collect almost nothing. The longer version is below.
What this site is
Josoka is the personal site of Josaphat Soekahar, based in Indonesia. It publishes a daily AI-written health blog and lets you reach me by email. No contact forms anywhere. Forms collect things. I do not need things.
What I collect
Server logs: the web host (Bluehost) keeps standard server logs: IP address, user agent, the page you visited. Used for security and uptime monitoring. Retained as long as Bluehost keeps them per its own policy.
Cookies: WordPress sets a small number of cookies for logged-in editors. As a regular visitor, you only get cookies if you leave a comment (none expected since comments are off) or if a third-party script sets one.
Analytics: currently no third-party analytics. If that changes, this page gets updated and the tool will be a privacy-respecting one. Not “we value your privacy” privacy-respecting. Actually privacy-respecting.
Messages you send me: if you email contact@josoka.com, the content of that message lives in my inbox. I use it only to reply.
Third-party services this site uses
- Bluehost: web hosting. Their privacy practices apply to server logs.
- WordPress: the content management system this site runs on.
- Yoast SEO: a WordPress plugin that helps with search-engine metadata. It does not track visitors.
Your rights
Sent me a message and want me to delete the records I have on you? Just ask. Email contact@josoka.com and I delete within seven days.
In a jurisdiction that gives you the right to a data export? Same email. I share what I have.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, this page is updated and the date below is bumped. Last updated: April 2026.
